Lawn Aerator Hire Machine
We have invested into the latest technology in fine turf care - the Camon LA25 is a top of the range pedestrian aerating machine available for hire. This aerating machine relieves soil compaction and improves water percolation through the soil profile, it will also enable air, water and nutrients to access the all important root zone and create an environment essential for healthy grass growth.
The cost of hire is £100 a day + delivery & collection cost.
We have a range of tines available to suit your requirements whether it be solid tinning for minimal surface disruption or hollow core removal to help alleviate soil compaction.
Lawn Scarifying Hire Machine
The Camon LS42 is a top of the range petrol scarifying machine that is very easy to use. The Camon’s free swinging blades will easily remove moss and sub-surface thatch to allow your lawn to breathe. If your lawn has a spongey feel, it will benefit from the Camon’s mechanical action removing the unwanted moss / thatch.
The cost of hire is £60.00 a day + delivery and collection cost.
Golf Courses
The Groundsman 460SDR is a perfect machine for micro-tinning on a regular basis. There is very little disruption to the green's surface, allowing golfers to continue right after the aeration process. Many club's will hollow core at the end of the playing season to alleviate soil compaction as shown in the photo.
Bowling Greens
The Groundsman 460SDR is the perfect machine to compliment the fine playing surface that a Bowling green will have. As with golf greens, the micro-tines can be used throughout the playing season with minimal disruption. Many will hollow core at the end of the playing season to help alleviate soil compaction.
Cricket Squares
The Groundsman 460SDR is the perfect machine to carry out solid tine aeration too the square in November, December and January. The process will help alleviate compaction caused by the season's heavy rolling - this will also allow air & water into the root zone and will aid winter drainage.
Football Pitches
Winter drainage is essential to keep games on - the pedestrian Groundsman 460SDR can perform on soft pitches due to it's light weight. The 6 inch, 16mm solid tines spaced at every 3 inches provide perfect vertical drainage holes to allow water to percolate down through the soil profile, meaning less games called off due to a water logged pitch.
End of season hollow coring would help alleviate compacted area's. The holes could be utilised for over seeding where required. The cores could then be drag matted in to act as a top dress.
